What is The Great Talanoa?
The Great Talanoa is an initiative to open up the space that is holistic (spirituality, culutural connectivity, intergenerational) beginning the talk about these particular topics in a family or church context. Talanoa is a Samoan, Fijian & Tongan common word which is a Pacific Island form of dialogue that brings people together to reflect a process of inclusive, participatory, transparent views without any predetermined expectations for agreement
TALA - to talk
NOA - “free” or without restrictions
THE GREAT TALANOA (unconcealed story telling)
